Depending on the type of installation (surface-mounted or flush) to the specific specification pay attention to the cutout and the toggle positions.
If the panel thickness exceeds 23 mm, the sketch “Mounting the control toggle” must be observed (there must be a gap at the back).
When combining several Vario devices In the 400 series, a VA 420 connecting strip must be used between the devices. Depending on the type of installation, provide appropriate connecting strips.
The load-bearing capacity and stability, especially with thin worktops, must be ensured by suitable substructures. Take the weight of the device including additional load into account.
Additional information for flush installation:
The installation is suitable for worktops made of stone, synthetic material or solid wood. Heat resistance and waterproof sealing of the cut edges must be taken into account. For other materials, please consult the worktop manufacturer regarding use.
The groove must be continuous and even to ensure that the devices rest evenly on the seal. Do not use selective lining.
The joint width can vary due to dimensional tolerances of the combinations and the worktop cutout.
When installing several devices in individual cutouts, a web width of 50 mm must be planned between the individual cutouts.
Only suitable for iron magnetic cookware. For optimal temperature distribution, cookware with a sandwich base is recommended.
